Puertos del Estado participates in a MARSEC 20 exercise on cyber security in the maritime-port environment

11-27-2020 (Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda) Puertos del Estado, alongside the National Cryptologic Centre, the Cyber Defence Joint Command (MCCD), the NCAGS/NATO, the Port Authorities of Barcelona and Cartagena, the Carnival Group, INCIBE, the Spanish Maritime Cluster, the ISEN University Centre, the General Directorate of Merchant Marine, SASEMAR, the European Maritime Agency (EMSA), P&O, SGS and OSS, among others, are participating in the MARSEC 20 CYBER SECURITY exercise, consisting of an online seminar and a simulation (practical demonstration) in Cartagena's waters, organized by the Maritime Action Force (MAF).

The MARSEC 20 exercise, held between 24 and 27 November, aims to raise awareness of the need to improve cyber security capabilities in the maritime environment, help carry out incident response procedures and disseminate knowledge of regulations and guidelines for action in the event of cyber attacks. The exercise will include radio, GPS and radar jamming and "Spoofing AIS" exercises, using NATO and national units to demonstrate the currently available capabilities and vulnerability to these threats.

The online demonstrations can be seen at: https://marsec.isen.es/
