Chairman

The Chairman of the Foro falls to the Chairman of the Spanish Port Authorities Organisation Puertos del Estado

Coordinator

The Coordinator chairs the Executive Committee and is appointed by the Chairman of Puertos del Estado.

General Assembly

The General Assembly is the highest-ranking deliberative and determining body of the Latin American Port Forum and its agreements govern the way it operates.

The General Assembly is composed of a set of Foro members each with the right to a single vote.

Attendance at General Assembly Meetings, at which all members have the right to speak and cast votes, should be personal but where necessary votes can be delegated to the Chairman or other Assembly member.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the Forum's managing body.

The Executive Committee shall consist of a maximum of up to 20 voting members, appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum from amongst its members, endeavouring to ensure that the Committee's composition is the most balanced reflection possible of the different geographical areas and the different activity sectors or spheres present in the Forum. Voting members shall be appointed for a three-year term.

The Executive Committee may also comprise non-voting members not included in the maximum number of voting members provided above who shall be present in a supporting role representing the technical or administrative structure of Puertos del Estado.

The Coordinator, Secretary and designated members shall have the right to vote at meetings of the Executive Committee.
