SAPO (Local Wave Forecast System) is 48 hour forecast service that Puertos del Estado on Port Authorities  demand. These systems are installed in a computer at the Port Authority Office. The programs are executed in automatic mode twice a day. A 48-hour forecast is obtained . A wave generation and programming model is used to cover the harbour exterior waters, an area of about 600 Km ² .  The interior waters of the harbour are covered with an agitation model.
