| Blue background | : results from analyzed fields. |
| Yellow background | : forecasts.

The maps, generated directly from the output of the circulation
model, corresponds to sea level variations induced by wind and
atmospheric pressure. This variations, together with tides,
rules the short term evolution of sea level.
The plots over a blue background corresponds to ocean
model data forced by analyzed atmospheric fields. These
fields are computed by the atmospheric model incorporating
information from measurements and, therefore, are highly
accurate. Plots over a yellow background corresponds to forecasts.
Sea level forecast provided here by Puertos del Estado has been performed with the more advanced techniques and the best meteorological forcing available at this moment. Thisforecast is thought to be used by the Spanish Harbours as additional information for their operation, however Puertos del Estado does not assume any responsability derived from differences that can appear in nature between the forecast provided and the real sea level.
