The Report of the State-Owned Port System Management gathers, with annual periodicity, an analysis of the management performed by the ports of general interest in each fiscal year. Thus compliance is given to one of the competencies that the Consolidated Text of the Law of State Ports and Merchant Navy, in its article 18, assigns to State Ports: "to draw up an annual report on the implementation of port policy, which includes the analysis of the management developed in the ports of general interest and which it will forward to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport which will raise it to the Spanish Parliament".
