Digitalization is one of the strategic lines outlined in the Strategic Framework, which envisions smart, hyperconnected, and synchromodal ports. To achieve this goal, following advancements in the single window system and the development of Port Community Systems, the current process focuses on data integration—whether it originates from operator systems, is provided by open devices made available by system users, or comes from sensors deployed by the Port Authority or Puertos del Estado. This integration aims to facilitate decision-making that optimizes both real-time operations and the implementation of investments.

This process is part of the 5.0 transformation, which centers on people rather than technology. This means that the enablers of artificial intelligence, data reliability, and the creation of digital networks will be supervised or co-designed by people. This shift fundamentally changes the way we work and generate added value.
