Puertos del Estado is taking part in the International Logistics Exhibition (SIL) in Barcelona, from today until 20 June, to showcase the capacities of the state-owned port system as key links in the logistics chain and to reaffirm its commitment to sustainability and innovation.

With its presence at SIL 2025, Puertos del Estado reaffirms its commitment to boosting Spain’s logistics competitiveness by promoting a more efficient, sustainable, and integrated logistics model. In this regard, the President of Puertos del Estado, Gustavo Santana, present at the opening of this edition of the exhibition, emphasized that “Spanish ports are not just transport platforms, but key logistics hubs in the digital and green transition of international trade.”

Santana also took part in the Corredores 2025 Awards ceremony, which recognises the best freight transport initiatives that contribute to a more multimodal, innovative, and sustainable system.

At the stand of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, under the message “Shared course. Building the future from our ports”, Puertos del Estado representatives and port authorities will hold meetings and networking sessions over the three-day event with participating companies, with the aim of consolidating the role of Spain’s state-owned ports as a fundamental pillar of the national logistics system and of promoting connectivity.
