
Puertos del Estado reinforces its commitment to sustainable mobility
The organization's participation in the Global Mobility Call revolves around public-private collaboration, sustainability and cybersecurity
23-10-2023 (State Ports Public Body). From 24 to 26 October, Puertos del Estado will participate in the Global Mobility Call to highlight the commitment of the state-owned port system to sustainable mobility.
With the slogan 'Transforming the ports of the present to conquer the challenges of the future', Puertos del Estado will be present at the Global Mobility Call together with the main national and international transport players, to show the progress of ports of general interest towards more economically, socially and environmentally sustainable enclaves.
On Tuesday 24th, the president of Puertos del Estado, Álvaro Rodríguez Dapena, will participate in the Round Table 'The public sector as a driver of public-private collaboration to address growing mobility needs', together with representatives of Renfe, Adif and Ineco. And on Thursday 26th he will speak in a special session on 'Infrastructures for runners'.
On Wednesday 25th, the Deputy Director of Accessibility, Sustainability and Physical Environment of Puertos del Estado, Antonio Góngora, will provide the agency's experience on 'Coordination for Electrification'. Intermodal Transport Infrastructures. (R+D+I, Investments, Regulation)'.
For his part, the head of the Sustainability and Environment Area of the organization, Obdulio Serrano, will speak on Wednesday 25 at the table 'From Suez to IMO (International Maritime Organization) 2023. Decarbonisation as a line of action for maritime transport in the face of a growing global activity'.
The round table 'Cyber resilience for smart and connected mobility' , which will be held on Thursday 26, will be attended by the head of Cybersecurity, Communications and Corporate Applications of Puertos del Estado, José Manuel Cabrera.
