Puertos del Estado renews its website to make it more transparent and accessible
- The goal is to make information about the state-owned port system more accessible to all audiences
23-10-2024 (Puertos del Estado). As of today, Puertos del Estado has a new website to bring information about the state-owned port system closer to all audiences.
Accessibility and user experience have been the central pillars in the development of the new website. In terms of accessibility, it improves compliance with European regulations and Royal Decree 1112/2018, of September 7th, on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications, achieving an AA level.
Regarding the new design, which adapts to different devices, it focuses on the user to make navigation clearer and more intuitive, allowing access to the necessary information in the most convenient way possible and within a multi-platform environment.
The portal not only refreshes its image but also restructures the information and enhances the inclusion of multimedia content and graphics to facilitate understanding, especially regarding port statistics. It also incorporates a powerful search engine throughout the website.
The new website, in addition to all oceanographic, statistical, and economic information, includes content on the main strategic work lines of Puertos del Estado.
In short, this is another step in the public entity’s commitment to innovation, transparency, and public service.
